BLUEMEHNDI
bluemehndi is a journey into the unknown realm of spirituality

I live in worlds, one outside and many on the inside. I am consciously connected to my inner realty through my imagination where I experience visuals, stories and messages . For 26 years, I recorded them in the form of art and named them BLUEMEHNDI.
Blue is the colour of our blood, decorating the body like mehndi patterns. Though our blood is red and each of us is unique, we are all shaped by the same consciousness of body, mind, and spirit—the BlueMehndi.
"In my practice, I capture the subtle currents of life,
the unseen energies that are consiuosness and the conceptual conditions that cause sepearation. BlueMehndi is my response to a world where tradition, memory, and modernity collide in unexpected ways."
Through BlueMehndi, I explore the consciousness of our times - how beliefs, customs, and human interactions are constantly evolving. Each piece is my attempt to map the invisible forces that guide behavior, desire, and emotion, revealing both the beauty and tension inherent in transformation. My art is a reflection of reality and meditation on it, offering a space to pause, question, and feel history alongside the present. By intergrating observation, intuition, and consciousness into each composition, I create visuals that may speak to a human experience while remaining deeply personal.

MAGIC CIRCLE
Magic Circle is a modern interpretation of the Ramayana, the story of Rama, Sita, and Ravana. It depicts Sita protected by the circle Rama created around her, a symbol of love, loyalty, and connection. The golden tones reference the golden deer that Ravana used to tempt Sita, drawing her beyond the circle. Ravana is shown in dark underground branches, a shadowy presence beneath the scene. In the centre, Rama and Sita are together, adorned with intricate Mehndi-inspired patterns, symbolising the texture of life and their bond. An egg in the middle represents union, the bow and arrow signify protection and focus, and the composition merges myth with a modern abstract aesthetic. Hanuman, the Monkey Lord, is included with his tail, crown, and wings, carrying the world of Lanka in his hand. This artwork reimagines an ancient story through contemporary eyes, capturing devotion, temptation, and the power of love.

DESCRIPTION - Rama’s love surrounds Sita, unbroken and unyielding, a force that protects and guides her.
Even in darkness, their bond shines, a golden circle of trust, devotion, and unwavering connection.

FATHERS DAY
Father’s Day was created after months in India observing the dynamics between men and women in everyday life. I noticed how often the woman was at the centre—cooking, caring, holding everything together, while the father stood nearby, watching, almost detached, present but removed. This tension inspired the artwork: a woman, cracked yet rooted, her dress formed of green blossoms and leaves, holding the earth in her hands as if trying to keep life itself intact. She embodies both mother and Mother Nature, struggling yet steadfast, fragile yet essential. Above, a distant planet represents the father, watching from afar. The piece questions whether his role is to remain an observer, or whether this is simply how society has framed it.

DESCRIPTION - A woman holds the weight of the world, her strength both fragile and unshakable.
The father remains distant, a silent planet circling her gravity.

COCO RED
Coco Re is an artwork born from a painful encounter with an elephant I met in South India, a gatekeeper bound by chains, bleeding yet holding a quiet power in her eyes. Behind the surface of ritual and devotion, I discovered rows of elephants hidden, caged, painted, and broken, and I couldn’t walk away untouched. Coco spoke to me without words — a call to witness, to tell her story, to honour her spirit beyond the cruelty imposed on her. In the artwork, I transformed her from brown and wounded to sky blue, infinite like the heavens, with red behind her symbolising blood and sacrifice. Coco Re became more than an image: it became a voice, a resistance, and a reminder of what humans choose to ignore.

DESCRIPTION - Coco Re stands sky-blue, vast and unbroken, carrying the quiet strength of a spirit that refused to be defined by chains. Behind her, the red remains — a reminder of wounds that are not hers alone but belong to what humanity has done.

SENDER
The Sender is rooted in my years with a partner who was both a classically trained ballet dancer and a student of Odissi in India, where dance is less performance and more devotion — a direct channel to the divine. Witnessing her movements, and learning the language of mudras, gestures, and subtle expressions, revealed how the body carries messages far beyond words: signals of energy, emotion, and consciousness that ripple into the world. The work reflects that discovery — that our physical presence is not just form, but transmission. She was the sender, but also the mirror, reminding me that every step, every movement, every shift in how we hold ourselves is an offering, a signal, and sometimes, a prayer.

DESCRIPTION - Every movement is a signal, every gesture a transmission. The Sender carries the unspoken language of spirit into the world.

YOGAMAGIC
Yoga Magic explores the hidden dialogue between body and mind, where breath and movement awaken a reality beyond thought. The figure’s posture reveals not muscle and bone, but an inner world constructed from stones, leaves, water, and roots—nature itself woven into human form. Created during my years of Hatha yoga and breathwork practice, the piece reflects how these disciplines stripped away my conceptual thinking and forced me to listen to the body as its own source of wisdom. It’s about recognising the body not as machinery, but as a transmitter of energy, carrying the same magic as the earth. Yoga Magic is a reminder that true union begins when we quiet the mind and allow the body to reveal its natural intelligence.

DESCRIPTION - The body becomes landscape, built from stone, leaf, and root, where breath reveals what thought hides. Yoga Magic lives in that space where flesh is not mechanics but a transmitter of earth’s energy.

BEHIND SIGHT
Behind Sight reflects the limitations of human perception when it comes to understanding divinity. The artwork positions a figure, Buddha or a godlike presence, within a serene landscape, yet the path to truly seeing is obscured. We have access to symbols, teachings, and rituals, but these only offer fragments of a greater vision we cannot fully grasp. The work explores the tension between knowing and experiencing, between observing and being, emphasizing that the divine perspective is always just beyond our reach. It asks us to confront the gap between interpretation and truth, reminding us that spirituality and religion can never fully translate the consciousness of the sacred. Perhaps the ultimate insight is not in trying to see behind the figure, but in transforming ourselves—to become God, in order to see God.

DESCRIPTION - He sees what we can see, and yet we cannot see what he sees. All is visible in sight.

SITA
Sita walks through the forest, aware of Ravana, the nine-headed demon, weaving webs of seduction and danger around her. The trees, transformed into jewels and intricate traps, tempt her, yet she is not alone—Rama’s presence shines subtly in blue light, his awareness protective, and the branch she holds, shaped like a bow, reminds her of his vigilance. Laxman appears as the caged bird, quietly guiding her, while ladybirds, spiders, and subtle forest signs mark the tension between illusion and loyalty. Every element presses the question of temptation versus awareness, fear versus trust, yet she moves with grace and vigilance. Sita is a moment of love, honour, and protection, caught between threat and devotion, showing how connection shields against the unseen.

DESCRIPTION - Ravana waits, Sita moves through the forest, Rama’s presence in blue light unseen but guiding. Laxman and the forest watch, every shadow and trap part of the story unfolding.

JOY BANGLA
Joy Bangla is a tribute to Bangladesh and to a friend of the artist who opened his eyes to its spirit, its traditions, and the rhythm of life in its villages. I created it to capture the heart of the country, not literally, but through abstract impressions—the green of the land, the red circle of the flag, raindrops falling, and fishermen navigating their boats. Every small detail, every texture and symbol, reflects a connection he felt without ever fully experiencing the country firsthand. The artwork is about energy, presence, and feeling more than form, capturing the simplicity and depth of daily life, the subtle interactions, and the resilience and warmth of the people. Joy Bangla exists as a quiet love letter to the country and its enduring spirit, honoring its beauty and its humanity.

DESCRIPTION - Green and red swirl together like rain over riverboats, simple shapes carrying the pulse of a country. Every line hums with the energy of daily life, the quiet strength and warmth of people who make it home.

IDENTIFY ME
Identify Me was born from meeting Lakshmi, a girl in rural India whose presence completely reframed my understanding of life. Despite carrying immense responsibility, caring for seven children, working across schools, navigating hardship, she moved through the world with a grace, joy, and love that was effortless. Her humility, strength, and clarity of self challenged every assumption I held about wealth, education, and need. She had no conflict with her identity, her surroundings, or her future; she simply was, fully present and fully alive, flowing with life as it came. Every gesture, every moment she existed in radiated generosity and culture. This artwork captures that quiet majesty, her veil a symbol of her lineage, resilience, and innate dignity. Identify Me is Lakshmi, and through her, a reminder of the power in simplicity and the freedom in selfhood.

POSITION
Position reflects the moment the artist discovered that true alignment isn’t about where you are in the world, it’s about the awareness of where you are within yourself. Life, people, society, even chance events are all part of the field you inhabit, but the power comes from recognizing your frequency, your vibration, and the space you occupy as a conscious being. This artwork holds that tension: the red block is life, the lines and textures are energy, nature, and society, all surrounding you. It’s a reminder that clarity, presence, and alignment aren’t given—they’re discovered by inhabiting your own position fully, beyond the human perspective, beyond expectation, and rooted in the awareness of self.

DESCRIPTION - A red block sits among lines and vibrations, quietly marking the place you are meant to hold. It is about self-awareness beyond circumstance, presence beyond perception.

GOLDEN MOMENTS
Golden Moments is a man sitting, waiting, aware. He is still, yet everything moves around him temple, city, sky, energy—and he sees it all as one. The moment is his, but it belongs to everyone, to anyone open enough to feel it. Presence turns ordinary into sacred, awareness turns time into gold. Here, devotion and attention create a space where self, spirit, and world merge. The temple, the lake, the sky—they exist because he sees them, yet he exists because of them. It is a reminder that golden moments are never far; they are waiting wherever we choose to notice, to feel, to breathe, and to let ourselves be truly present.

DESCRIPTION - Golden Moments is a man sitting, aware of everything yet nothing. In that stillness, time bends, energy flows, and the ordinary becomes sacred.

SOULUTATION
Salutations was created in South Chennai for the entrance of a new Hilton hotel, designed to welcome people, their energy, and their presence into the space. The hands, abstract and slightly open, carry the posture of prayer, a gesture in India that signifies connection, respect, and availability. The gesture is alive, inviting people into it and allowing them to feel part of the energy without imposing. Colours, patterns, and subtle references to temples, beads, and the surrounding land bridge interior and exterior, human and divine, modernity and culture. It is a moment of pause, a breath, a recognition of presence, a space that honours attention and offers a gentle invitation to engage with the world and the spirit that moves through it.

IN SIGHT
In Sight is a collaborative artwork that brings together sculpture, photography, and symbolism to explore the depth of inner awareness. A handcrafted brass and steel profile, scanned and reimagined, becomes the foundation for a meditation on intuition and consciousness. The spiral leading to the swastika – a sacred and ancient Hindu symbol representing good fortune, creation, and cosmic order – serves as a reminder that the true journey of perception is inward rather than outward. The work reflects on the nature of insight itself: not as intellect, knowledge, or external conditioning, but as the innate awareness that exists within every human being. It questions the quality of our inquiry—are we guided by surface layers of perception, or do we recognise ourselves as part of nature and creation itself? In Sight suggests that true clarity is found not in searching beyond, but in recognising what already resides within.

BEYOND SKIN
Beyond Skin was born from a vision to honour women who had endured the cruelty of acid attacks and yet rose as living embodiments of resilience, dignity and power. At its heart lies a rose, beauty adorned with thorns, declaring that true beauty cannot be owned, harmed, or diminished, only revered. The petals unfold into galaxies, stars and cosmic fields, symbolising that identity and worth extend far beyond the surface. Around this rose gather women rendered not as broken, but as elemental formed of water, stone, wood, and earth their faces sacredly shielded, not in shame, but in protection of their deeper essence. Among them, one stands fully open to the cosmos, unscarred yet no more radiant than the others, reminding us that beauty is not skin, but spirit. Beyond skin lies truth, and in truth, immeasurable power.

PASSION SPACE
Passion Space is an exploration of desire as a cosmic force, where two lovers transcend the human form and dissolve into raw energy. Their bodies distort, merge, and shapeshift, not to shock but to reveal the boundless nature of intimacy where flesh becomes spirit and passion becomes universe. Here, sexuality is not confined to the physical but expands into a state of godlike creation, destruction, and transformation. Every gesture, every scratch, every breath between them becomes elemental, animalistic, and divine all at once. This is not love as romance, nor lust as surface pleasure, but the alchemy of two souls combusting together leaving behind body, identity, and world. Passion Space is where intimacy ceases to be private and becomes infinite: a sacred, untamed dance that blurs the line between human desire and cosmic truth.

THE OFFERING
The Offering is an artwork that merges ritual, myth, and cosmic memory. Two stone-carved hands, cracked yet eternal, hold a delicate bed of rose petals — symbols of life, beauty, and impermanence. Behind them, an array of bangles arcs like planetary rings, framing the gesture as something both human and universal. The inspiration comes from a village ritual in northern India, where each morning begins with flowers raised in prayer, then released into the air — a daily rebirth, a celebration of possibility. The artwork draws this into the cosmic: the petals become echoes of the Big Bang, the moment when all matter, time, and stars erupted into being. The hands represent humanity as vessel and witness, the bangles as the worlds that followed, and the petals as the eternal reminder that every day is a new creation.

DESCRIPTION - Every day is a new creation, an explosion of possibility born from love.
The universe itself is an offering, reminding us that beauty begins again with every breath.

GAUTUM
Gautum is the worldly name of the Buddha, before he became the figure now enshrined in myth, devotion and golden imagery. This artwork draws from that tension between the boy and the enlightened being, the human and the divine, the stone and the vision. Inspired by an encounter in a Nepalese temple, where the form of Buddha seemed to emerge from shadow and light upon a golden rock, the piece embodies the mystery of who Buddha really was. Was he a man who walked away from privilege to seek truth? Was he a presence, an entity, a timeless consciousness that appeared through him? Or was he simply a story, a mirror for our own inner longing to be free of desire and suffering? Whatever the answer, Gautum represents both: the boy who began the journey, and the radiant stillness that continues to guide millions through his teachings.

DESCRIPTION - Beneath the golden glow lies not a statue, but the silence of a boy who became light.
To remember Gautum is to remember that the journey to peace begins within us all.

PANDEVAS
The Pandevas is an abstract reimagining of the epic story of the five Pandava brothers from Hindu mythology, each seeking the love and connection of a singular divine feminine presence. The artwork depicts five luminous spheres, each representing a brother, orbiting around a central female energy that radiates power, inspiration, and transcendence. Only when one brother aligns with her essence does a force emerge, uniting them all and generating a protective cosmic field that extends beyond their immediate reality. The composition celebrates the tension between individuality and collective purpose, the pursuit of connection, and the transformative potential of love. Modern, abstract, and visually poetic, The Pandevas translates an ancient narrative into a contemporary meditation on energy, harmony, and the universal dance between desire, devotion, and creation.

DESCRIPTION - Five brothers, each seeking the energy of a single divine presence, orbit her like spheres drawn by destiny. When one aligns, their collective force radiates, creating a cosmic field of protection, love, and transcendence.

FORGOTTEN DAY
Forgotten Day depicts an elephant standing in front of a traditional Indian village, swaying and playing with leaves. The artwork was inspired by an encounter the artist had in Rajasthan, North India, when an elephant seemed to ask, “Will you remember me or forget me?” This moment became a reflection on how memory works and how moments, even the small ones, carry meaning over time. The archway and light in the artwork are imagined elements that represent the elephant’s long life and ancestral memory, showing how it has witnessed generations and changes in the world around it. The piece explores how everyday experiences, though often overlooked, are stored in memory and body consciousness, shaping perception and understanding.

WATER CARRIER
The WaterCarrier honours the women who carry water for their families and communities, sometimes over long distances, and at times as a symbolic performance without the actual water. Adorned in vibrant clothing, handmade jewellery, and marked with tattoos reflecting their journeys, these women show strength, presence, and resilience. Their actions go beyond practicality—they are a demonstration of responsibility, care, and the vitality of their role within the community. The artist observed how this performance, whether carrying water or not, expressed dedication to family and society, sustaining culture, connection, and respect. The WaterCarrier captures both the physical and symbolic power of these women, celebrating their endurance, authority, and the way they embody prosperity, support, and life itself in every step they take.

GOLD RUSH
The artist spent time in rural India, witnessing firsthand the struggles of children along railway lines and the difficult choices faced by families. Gold Rush reflects the reality faced by children in rural India, particularly along railway lines that lead to cities. Every month, families send boys in the hope of earning money and opportunity, yet often they lose their innocence and sometimes never return. The artwork captures a single boy playing with a wheel on the track, frozen in a moment before transformation, as the distant golden city promises allure and opportunity. His elongated shadow marks the shift from childhood to forced adulthood. Through the perspective of a parent watching, the piece conveys tension, hope, and fear, showing the human cost behind economic survival. Gold Rush honours the courage of these children while also holding a mirror to society, highlighting the difficult choices imposed by poverty, the fragility of innocence, and the bittersweet nature of survival in a world of limited opportunity.

GENERATIONS
Generations is an exploration of the cycles that shape families, ideas, and belief systems across time. The artwork uses layered textures, shells, skin, and natural materials in soft whites to represent the accumulation of experience and knowledge through generations. Each overlapping layer signifies how ideas, habits, and ways of living are passed down, influencing the present. At the centre, the red opening represents a rupture, a moment where someone breaks free from inherited patterns and creates their own path, planting the seed for a new reality. It reflects the tension between continuity and change, between following tradition and forging individuality. The piece captures the balance between inherited influence and personal agency, showing that even within the weight of history, there is space to generate new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities for the future.

DESCRIPTION - Every decision we make has consequences on our reality that will run on for infinity. The question is, will we mindlessly experience reality and repeat it all over, or will we consciously generate a new reality?

NIGHT & DAY
Night & Day reflects on the shifting perception of time and experience, inspired by a sudden storm the artist experienced in Scotland. The artwork explores how darkness and light appear and vanish, questioning whether daily patterns shape life or if existence continues regardless. It captures the tension between natural cycles and human constructs of time, showing how moments can feel condensed, disorienting, and yet full of possibility. The cityscape and textures suggest a structured world, while the rich golden light reminds us that life moves forward, and nature persists, independent of measurement. It’s an exploration of awareness, presence, and the subtle ways light, shadow, and time influence how reality is felt and understood.

SHAPE SHITFER
Shape Shifter captures an encounter the artist had in northern Rishikesh, high in the Himalayas, with an Aghori who lived in a remote cave. At four in the morning under moonlight, the Aghori shared how he and a thousand others act as conduits, connecting their third eyes to the planets and transmitting the energy of human life across the mountains. The black stone he held symbolised his link to another world, and through it, the information gathered from the living is sent to the cosmos, returning centuries later to influence the world. The artist spent weeks among these Aghoris, observing their rituals, sensing the discipline, focus, and energy required to open the third eye and connect with forces beyond the three-dimensional world. The artwork abstracts this profound experience, showing transformation, connection, and the unseen flow of consciousness across time and space.

DESCRIPTION - As I leave my home as a free spirit, I become a hunter and the hunted. If I catch my prey, I am rewarded with another day. If I am caught, I may never see any day. If I am not captured or have captured, I will shapeshift until I arrive back home. My third eye is always wide open, and so my spirit can only lead me to freedom.

EMANCIPATION
Emancipation is part of the Love Experience Mandala, exploring the journey of romantic love and the struggle to reclaim autonomy after being tested by intense emotional experiences. The artwork depicts a woman in vibrant electric pinks and purples, her heart bursting from her chest as she longs to return to the ordinary world she once knew, free from the restraints of past attachments. She has three legs, symbolising the urgency and intensity of her pursuit, while the flowing details of her attire, inspired by fins, fish skin and scales, convey movement, transformation and liberation. Behind her, a blue, alien-like masked figure represents the ego, trauma and internalised pain that seek to keep her bound within cycles of dependence and expectation. Floating in space, she embodies both grace and defiance, illustrating the confrontation with – and ultimate transcendence of – limiting forces. Emancipation captures the power of choosing freedom, love and self-determination.

DESCRIPTION - Emancipation is the release of love from the grip of ego, where the artist reveals freedom as the truest intimacy.

SURYA'S POT
Surya is an improvised artwork the artist created during a trip to Bundi, Rajasthan, a place rich with myth and memory. Local guides told him the story of Queen Surya, who vanished during a great battle and was said to have died of thirst and exhaustion in the forest. Her spirit is remembered by a broken pot, the last vessel she drank from, still believed to carry her presence. The artwork depicts her seated in a barren land where one enchanted tree continues to pour water into a small pond, keeping life alive amidst desolation. Around her, spirits wait for a king who will never return, yet her essence lingers, nourishing what remains. For the artist, it became a meditation on loss, legend, and how stories flow through generations like water, keeping the past alive in the present.

DESCRIPTION - To create anything in life, one must get a bit broken first. Only then one can let the beauty pour out, to share. If we fear creation, we may die of thirst, no love. If we allow the water or love to flow freely, we may manifest life in the lifeless. Surya was in search of water and disappeared in the heart of Rajasthan. Today, she appears as a myth, a ghost.

AURA
Aura was created during the artist’s four years of exploring ancient yogic practices, from breathwork to posture, where discipline opened doorways to clarity, vision and expansion. The artwork depicts a female form held in posture, surrounded by a whirlwind of dissolving bodies and shifting natural elements, crafted with textures from shells, seaweed and water. Within her archway emerges a third eye, where a tear of milk falls onto a lotus leaf, referencing the ritual offerings of Shiva. From this point, a simulation of a world appears, marked with blueprints and measurements across the water. Dolphins, fish and life forms circle through the flow, while above, a planet gazes back as she looks up. Aura represents transcendence — a moment where body, spirit, and cosmos align, revealing the unseen currents of energy that shape both inner and outer worlds.

BUTTERFLY LOVE
Butterfly Love is an artwork created during a collaboration with Bengali and Bangladeshi artists, inspired by the true story of a boy with extraordinary imagination who could not see. The artist explores how this child sensed the world without vision, visualising butterflies and experiences through intuition rather than sight. His mother became his eyes, giving him love and guidance so he could experience only beauty, never darkness. The artwork depicts her holding his hand as he reaches toward a butterfly, invisible to him, yet present in his shadow. Against a backdrop referencing the Bangladeshi flag, the piece reflects imagination, maternal love, and the unseen beauty of perception. It celebrates how the world can be experienced beyond the visible, where love, care, and awareness shape reality, and where imagination holds its own form of truth and life.

DESCRIPTION - As a child, I did not know what tomorrow was, then overnight. I became an expert. I soon visualised years and even lifetimes. This was fun in the beginning but soon became troublesome as I no longer was inside today. Now I have no sight beyond this moment.
My only reality is the butterfly, my imagination.

BLOND DURGA
Blonde Durga is an artwork created in Rajasthan at a dance school where women from around the world come to study classical goddess dances. The artist was documenting this journey for an illustrative book when this image emerged. Durga, the goddess, embodies courage, insight, and love, traditionally portrayed as a powerful, almost supernatural figure in flight, commanding energy and presence. In this artwork, an American blonde woman assumed Durga’s posture, outfit, and gestures, and the transformation was immediate: her energy aligned perfectly with the archetype, radiating the goddess’s power. This moment showed that origins, skin tone, or culture do not limit embodiment; energy and intention can summon myth into reality. The artwork captures her strength, the trident in her hand, flowing hair dissolving into the sky, and subtle details of movement, light, and power—an assertion that the essence of Durga can be invoked by anyone who opens to it.

DESCRIPTION - She radiates the power of Durga, fearless and unbound. Her energy becomes a bridge between human and divine.

BRAND NEW
Brand-new is an abstract artwork from the natural seed collection, exploring the pure potential of life before the world imposes its rules. The piece focuses on the human embryo, replicated and arranged in formations that feel alive yet simple, almost obscure. It reflects on the conditioning a child faces before birth, the labels, passports, and expectations already assigned by society. Brand-new asks why a life cannot simply exist as it is, unshaped and unbranded, free to grow as an expression of consciousness. The artwork celebrates the untapped potential of a being untouched by instruction, culture, or predetermined identity. It is a meditation on innocence, possibility, and the wonder of entering the world unformed, urging reflection on how much of our experience is constructed and how much remains inherently magical.

COLOUR MONSOON
Colour Monsoon was a seminal artwork in the artist’s career and exploration. It was the first piece where he combined photography, painting, and the intricate patterns of Mehndi into a single composition. The work came from an intense experience during the monsoon season in India, a month of relentless rain that transformed everything around him. Amidst the downpour, the colours of the women’s clothing, the flowers, and the temple architecture blended together in a way that was both abstract and alive. The rain blurred the boundaries, creating layers of colour and pattern that shifted perception and revealed something deeper in the culture. Sol Monsoon is this beautiful artwork that depicts the monsoon season in India in a very abstract manner that reflects the artist’s experience of this incredible spectacle of nature and culture being created as art.

DESCRIPTION - Love can arrive like a sudden storm, reshaping everything it touches. In that quiet chaos, two hearts can find a rhythm all their own.

ROYAL YOUTH
Royal Youth is an artwork about freedom, innocence, creativity, and pure expression. It was inspired by the artist’s trips across South Asia, teaching art to children on the streets. What kept appearing in every interaction was their incredible zest, their complete presence in the moment, with no concept of future, past, or expectation. They had never been presented with brands, labels, or stories, they simply played, survived, and lived fully. Witnessing their energy humbled the artist, showing him how the West conditions us to chase validation, identity, and achievement, often losing the innocence of presence. Royal Youth depicts four or five children running across a plain, transparent landscape, flying into the Sun, exploring the universe at will. In their energy, they were royalty pure, unbounded, and alive and through them, the artist learned to free himself, to open his heart, and to carry their spirit forever.

DESCRIPTION - There will be a city with streets of gold.
The young so educated they never grow old.
They ascend to the heavens on the day of judgment,
when God and his creators lose their control.

DEVADASI
Devadasi is an artwork that captures the essence of a dancer devoted to Odissi, a classical Indian dance form with over 7,000 years of history. The piece reflects a modern Devadasi, an American woman trained in Rajasthan, who has become a conduit for the gods through her discipline, devotion, and mastery of the dance. Every element of her life—diet, posture, breath, movement—is dedicated to this practice, and the artwork shows a private moment of preparation, where she aligns herself with the divine and embodies the power of Durga. The artist spent time observing her, witnessing firsthand the intensity, awareness, and spiritual connection she brings to her craft. This piece captures the magical private moment where she is preparing to perform, fully aware and aligned, embodying the gods, and ready to communicate through the dance.

DESCRIPTION - She moves with a devotion that feels infinite, each gesture carrying the weight of love and reverence. In her presence, the connection between soul, body, and spirit becomes a quiet, living embrace.

INDUSTRY
Industry is an abstract artwork born from the artist’s time spent among India’s business giants, witnessing the contrast between immense wealth and the hardworking people who built the foundations of their cities. The piece shows a female form carrying a basket, replicated four times, with colours and textures representing earth, money, resources, and knowledge. The artist observed that beneath the polished success of these industrialists was a deep awareness of the work ethic of those at the ground level—the bricklayers, the labourers, the people whose daily effort made everything possible. This artwork honours that invisible heart of industry: the courage, strength, and drive of ordinary people who create something from nothing, making it visible for others to benefit. Industry captures the spirit of human labour and the essential, enduring pulse that builds every city.

DESCRIPTION - Love is the quiet strength that carries the weight of the world without asking for recognition. It is in the everyday acts, the unseen efforts, where devotion and care quietly transform everything.

TRANSCEND
Transcend is an artwork where a woman walks through a forest and encounters a small serpent. Expecting it to engage, she instead projects her perception onto it, enlarging and replicating herself so the serpent will see her. As the serpent grows with her imagination, the scene becomes a surreal interplay of ego and desire. The woman’s ego drives the creation of the serpent and the forest around her, exaggerating the interaction to satisfy her need to be chosen and recognised. Diamonds shimmer across the serpent’s skin, embodying the fantasies and distortions of the mind. This piece explores Hindu mythology and psychology, illustrating how ego separates from spirit, crafting illusions to meet its own expectations. The woman remains the centre, the origin of all the amplified forms and the narrative itself, a meditation on perception, desire, and the boundary between reality and imagination.

DESCRIPTION - She wants to be seen, fully and completely, and her longing is radiant. In that gaze, desire and devotion merge into one quiet, unspoken connection.

SUBTERRANEAN BALLET
Subterranean Ballet depicts the unseen world of angels and spirits that exist alongside us, guiding, protecting, and influencing our lives. These entities are subterranean not because they are hidden by choice, but because they exist beyond the human eye – beneath the ground, in the air, in our hearts and minds. This artwork shows four angelic, magical beings, floating beneath the surface yet reaching upwards, their forms dissolving between the human and ethereal. Their wings, delicate and spun like spider’s webs, remind us that not all is as it seems; some forces can entangle or mislead if we are not aware. Subterranean Ballet is a meditation on presence and vigilance, on recognising which energies to invite into our world and understanding that conscious awareness is required to navigate the unseen with care and intention.

DESCRIPTION - There are worlds within our own where angels and demons co-exist.
They drift beneath the surface and survey the land. If you look down into the earth you can observe their movements.
Look up to the heavens, and you may move with them.

SHADOW MAN
Shadowman is an artwork that came from the artist’s reflection on presence and perception. The piece shows the Earth in darkness, with a vast, exaggerated Bodhi tree that holds the true weight of knowledge, wisdom, and life itself. Beneath it sits a serene figure of Buddha, small in comparison, yet his shadow stretches across the world. The concept came from the artist noticing how easily we focus on the figure the man rather than the message he represents. The rich textures of the tree, the magical plants, birds, and subtle details convey that wisdom is alive, ever-growing, and present in experience, not form. Shadowman is about recognising the difference between revering the messenger and engaging with the teachings, and how true understanding comes when we look past the human figure to the deeper life and knowledge that surrounds it.

DESCRIPTION - The shadow of the man has grown larger than the message. True wisdom is in seeing the life around us, not just the figure we follow.

VARANASI'S DREAM
Varanasi’s Dream is an artwork born from the artist’s intense, transformative time in Varanasi, India, a city where for thousands of years the sacred ritual of cremating the dead has been performed along the river. Here, fire and light, chanting and song guide spirits into the next realm, creating a dense energetic field of life and death. The artist immersed himself completely, even sleeping in a boat surrounded by bodies to fully experience the weight and presence of this energy. Faces appeared to him in the dreamlike space of the boat, taking forms shaped by Hindu mythology, blending with the ornate, medieval architecture of Varanasi. In this artwork, these faces, the city, the river, and the ceremonial energy merge, reflecting his encounter with mortality and rebirth. The experience profoundly shifted his perception of life, death, and the flow of consciousness, capturing the intensity of being alive within such a powerful, continuous cycle.

DESCRIPTION - I went hunting for death, to feel it, to see it and embody it, but all i discovered was LIFE!!!

DIRECT DESCENDANTS
Direct Descendants is an artwork born from the artist’s contemplation of the beginnings of religion and the idea of the Messenger from God. He explored how, across different religions, there is often a figure—a human, usually male—who connects the divine and the earthly. These Messengers become elevated, almost God-like, because they communicate directly with the higher power. Over time, societies build structures around them, giving them authority and gatekeeping access to the divine. The artwork depicts three alien-like, godly entities that embody this idea of direct descendants, holding the blueprint of knowledge and divinity. Behind them, you see mathematical formulas, representing the structure of belief and ritual built around these figures. The piece asks us to question access, authenticity, and how humans can connect directly with creation rather than through intermediaries. It is a reflection on power, devotion, and the human desire for proximity to the divine.

DESCRIPTION - Love asks no permission and needs no messenger.
Connection to the source is immediate, pure, and unmediated.

SELF ETHIC
Self Ethic is an artwork that honours a remarkable energy the artist encountered in India. It depicts a woman in a simple white sari, holding a large vessel, embodying resilience and purpose. The artist met a 92-year-old woman, physically strong and alert, whose presence carried a quiet power that transcended age and circumstance. She had spent her life working tirelessly, raising a large family, carrying supplies across villages, and yet she radiated clarity, focus, and determination. Her strength was not about material comfort or recognition; it was about movement, persistence, and living fully in the moment. She described her rule simply: “Keep moving.” This encounter inspired the artwork, capturing the essence of self-discipline, endurance, and unshakable inner power. The piece celebrates all women who carry the weight of life with dignity and unwavering spirit.

DESCRIPTION - She moves through the world with quiet strength and endless grace. Her presence is a reminder that love is found in perseverance and the heart’s unwavering courage.

LINGHAM
Lingam is an abstract, modern interpretation of the ritualistic expression devoted to Lord Shiva, inspired by the centuries-old practice where devotees pour water or milk over a black stone, the Lingam, as a symbol of creation, purity, and cosmic energy. Traditionally, the three horizontal red lines across the stone represent Shiva’s power, the union of body, mind, and spirit, and the cyclical nature of existence. In this artwork, the Lingam is depicted with symmetry, transparency, and modern colours, transforming the sacred object into a contemporary vision while maintaining its spiritual essence. Energetic streams radiate from the Lingam across the borders of the piece, drawing the viewer into its power. The artist wanted to honour this ritual in a way accessible to modern audiences, reconnecting people with its cultural and spiritual significance while giving it a fresh, abstract, and vibrant life.

DESCRIPTION - The Lingam pulses with an energy that touches the soul and reminds us of our own inner power. Its presence is a quiet invitation to connect, honour, and feel.

STONE COUNSEL
The Stone Counsel depicts a line of stone figures, combining Buddhist and Hindu ideas, digitally enhanced to create a striking presence. The artist imagined these figures as a council of guides, helpers, and entities who, though physically still, offer a form of counsel to those seeking direction. Most people approach them expecting guidance, advice, or intervention, yet the statues remain silent, immobile, untouched by life. Still, their energy communicates with us, prompting reflection, insight, and self-awareness. This artwork is about recognising that the guidance we seek often comes from within ourselves, using these mythological and spiritual forms as mirrors. The counsel becomes a vehicle for personal clarity, a space to confront challenges and uncover solutions. We project onto them our questions, hopes, and fears, yet ultimately, it is our consciousness that creates both the problem and the pathway forward.
