Jai Sol is a multifaceted visual artist who specializes in infusing traditional and contemporary artistic methods to create his works.

Rich with narrative and detailed compositions, Jai fuels his art with his observations of the world, in particular, his experiences in nature and culture. These observations were heavily influenced by monumental cultural and social events that impacted his family. Both parents adopting England as their new home after political unrest in their respected countries, India and Africa. As a child, Jai was continually exposed to contrasting cultures, each filled with nuanced ideas and traditions. At home, he was immersed in philosophy, arts, and spiritual practices from South Asia. Outside of the home, he experienced British values and traditions in a working-class environment. This contrast shaped Jai's perception of the world and inspired a curiosity to discover his identity and place in it. For over twenty years, Jai explored his curiosity to discover his position among the chaos and recorded this journey using multiple forms of artistic expression.

For Jai, art was always a form of play, an escape from reality. His earliest memories were filled only by him drawing or sketching alone, away from everything. This simple activity offered him the opportunity to experience peace and joy no matter the quality of his creation. He truly understood the value of this experience and knew that he would pursue this feeling for as long as he was alive.

Jai formerly studied art during his early twenties. Initially, he was drawn to fine art, in particular, renaissance and mogul stylised paintings. Examples of these works were positioned throughout his home in the form of religious art, in particular, artwork depicting Hindu Gods and Jesus Christ. Jai had a respectful appreciation for the artist's who specialised in this type of art and displayed wonderful technique to convey their visions, however, it was more the content, the narrative beyond the visual which truly interested Jai. His experiences of both Hinduism and Christianity as spiritual practices with rich, detailed context, prepared Jai to look beyond the literal and seek clues to the overall story or theme of art. He truly understood the power of these historic visuals and how they impact peoples thoughts, ideas and perceptions. of art and displayed wonderful technique to convey their visions, however, it was more the content, the narrative beyond the visual which truly interested Jai.
