My childhood was boring as hell, no toys, no friends, and no stimulation.
My only source of inspiration was an ageing factory behind our house.

From grandmothers with logos, to aunties with profiles, to sisters with followers, to mothers with lifestyles.
What chance does a baby have when it is brand new?

We all have 24 hours. Some of us invest this time in seeking pleasure, some use it to avoid pain.
So much can happen during this period, and very little too.
The contrast is night and day.

They always ask if its really actual art.
I respond with real, actual art.

Plants have a natural instinct to attain as much light as possible, even if it means leaving everyone else behind.
The strongest are rewarded with nature's most nourishing elements while the weak cannot see beyond the shadows.

I sometimes get the feeling that I am being watched, but only when I become aware of it.
When I'm distracted by this feeling I feel as though I am watching them.
At every corner, they wait to record my activity and behind every corner,
I instinctively dismiss their capability. Maybe I am just paranoid or maybe I was born to see eyes.
URBAN MYTH
The city landscape is devoid of artistic beauty, scattered presentations of size and structure designed to created order in the day.
The village landscape is full of organic beauty, scattered strokes of colour and pattern, there to decorate every day.

Every element of nature has been meticulously designed to seem simple.
From a distance, the earth looks like a few shapes, colours and patterns.
